The Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) is hosting a two day conference from 3^rd to 4^th September, at Gallagher Convention Centre. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the research findings of the five sets of commissioned research that are to inform the drafting of the National Waste Management Strategy.  This discussion will inform the preparation of a synthesis paper that will capture key issues and strategic themes as the foundation for the strategy.
