Dave Savage

Dave Savage will provide specialist input into the following areas of the strategy: macro-economic trends in the waste sector, intergovernmental fiscal systems and budgets for waste, municipal sector functioning and scope for interventions around waste management.

Dave, a town and regional planner by training, works as an independent international consultant and is an expert on all aspects of municipal finance. He recently worked on the financing of the expansion of labour-intensive solid waste collection services on behalf of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
